About us
Who are we?
We are a group of geologists, and a staff members in the Geology
Department / College of Science – University of Basrah.
Why this website?
Mesopotamian area is a wide and it includes many sedimentary
environments. Many studies were achieved, but still it needs more. The
major part of these studies were published in local scientific journals.
For that, many scientists ignore this part and they aspire to know more
of geologic information. So, the aim of this site is to spread the major
part of geologic information of Mesopotamia.
