Albian - Cenomanian Trocholinas from South Iraq

The name Coscinoconus revised, as it is not an alga, though it regarded as a synonymous to the genus Trocholina. In the same time most of the species, which were found within the Mauddud Formation, are classified under the name Coscinoconus has been emended and corrected to be suitable with the nomenclature of the genus Trocholina.

In the current study, a new species Trocholina irroratifunda sp.nov established, in addition to another two specimens described without nomination as a result to the scarcity of samples.
