Biozonation of the Barremian -Turonian sequence based on

orbitolinids-bearing rocks in Iraq

Abstract

             The Barremian-Turonian sequence o Iraq divided into ten biozones. This subdivision is based on the stratigraphic ranges and/or phylogenetic lineages o most important and well-defined orbitolinids taxa. The constructed biozones compared with their corresponding of the Mediterranean region.
